Low Carb Diets Forbid Eating Vegetables and Fruits

Because vegetables and fruits contain mainly carbohydrate, people think that they are forbidden on low carb diets. But the truth is that vegetables containing no starch are usually at the bottom of the “low carb pyramids” that mean they are important for the diet (replacing grains in that role) and people who are on this diet almost always eat more vegetables than the general population. For the most part, vegetables and fruits are the carbs used when following a low carb diet plan.
